Australian Pinball Museum

Stern Army tournaments are held on the last Saturday each month.

The Stern Army, created by Stern Pinball and partnered with the International Flipper Pinball Association, aims to expand the pinball playing community by helping to create more pinball events at public locations.

Jan 26 - AUSTRALIA DAY LONG WEEKEND SPECIAL EVENT.
Feb 23 - Best Game tournament on FOUR machines.
Mar 30 - Best Game tournament on FOUR machines.
Apr 27 - Best Game tournament on FOUR machines.
May 25 - Best Game tournament on FOUR machines.
Jun 29 - Best Game tournament on FOUR machines.
Jul 27 - Best Game tournament on FOUR machines.
Aug 31 - Best Game tournament on FOUR machines.
Sep 28 - Best Game tournament on FOUR machines.
Oct 26 - Best Game tournament on FOUR machines.
Nov 30 - Best Game tournament on FOUR machines.
Dec 28 - Best Game tournament on FOUR machines.



NOT JUST TOURNEMENTS - ALSO UNLIMITED FREE PLAY! The last Saturday of each month, enjoy unlimited games on all the pinball machines for an entry fee of only $20 per person!


The format for each Saturday tournament is as follows:

Tournament times: 11am - 9pm
Tournament fee: $5 tournament fee, FREE if first ever tournament (Note: Saturday Museum Entry Fee is needed to play in the tournaments at the museum - museum entry on Saturday is $20).

- Unlimited Quaifying runs on Saturday from 11am to 8pm. Finals Run from 8pm to 9pm approx.
- In qualifying, players play unlimited games on each of the 6 qualifying machines.
- The scores on each machine will be ranked and players will be allocated points accordingly.
- Only the best one score on each of the 6 machines will count towards a players final tally.
- Once the qualifying period starts all games played count. Games can be re-started and choose not to have their score recorded. There is no warm-up during this period.
- The top 30% of the qualifying field will move onto the finals. - In the absence of a player for the finals, the next highest ranked player is promoted to the finals.
- Head to head finals. Players are matched from highest ranked to lowest ranked. Best of 3 games elimination finals.
- In the finals, the higher ranked qualifier has the choice of either selecting: machine played OR going first or second.

You could go home with a framed backglass art from a real pinball machine proudly donated by Stern Pinball for the Stern Army Tournaments!
There is also a possibility to win museum merchandise, autographed pinball memorabilia and giftcards! (Each month will have different prizes available)
