Stern Army Invades Australia!

We welcome the Stern Army for its first ever pinball tournament held in Australia

December 7th, 8th and 9th 2018.

THE FIRST OFFICIAL STERN ARMY EVENT HELD IN AUSTRALIA!

A fun packed whole weekend of pinball, starting Friday December 7th and going until Sunday afternoon December 9th.

The Stern Army, created by Stern Pinball and partnered with the International Flipper Pinball Association, aims to expand the pinball playing community by helping to create more pinball events at public locations.

The weekend will be filled with 4 official IFPA tournaments, Unlimited Free Play events, plus exciting mini competitions.
Each tournament will also have prizes up for grabs – including Stern Pinball swag, Autographed Pinball memorabilia, and Australian Pinball Museum merchandise!

The perfect fun filled weekend for everyone – plenty of tournaments for those into IFPA world ranked tournaments, mini-competitions for those wanting a more relaxed competition, and free play events for everyone.

* One machine is used for this event. All players line up to play. When you are playing, you need to lock the ball away in any mechanism that holds the ball for more than 1 second (these shots will be announced before the game), if you successfully lock the ball away you are 'free' and leave the game and go to the back of the line. BUT if you lose the ball, aka "drain", you are knocked out of the competition and do not return to the line. The last person standing wins.

* Players put into groups of 4 and play a 4 player game. Players ranked by highest score. Winner is safe, losers get a strike. 5 Strikes and you’re out!
